'It was established in 1986 to explore Buddhist approaches to dying, death and bereavement. It is a non-sectarian and welcomes both Buddhists and non-Buddhists alike. In fact it confesses that it is at this stage just a network of people,'a hospice of the heart', rather than a building. Has a quarterly magazine Raft (£4 subs.).
