Women's Building Forum
The Women's Building Forum (Kvinnors Byggforum) is a club for Swedish women of many different professions who are interested in seeing that women's ideas and experience are better used and catered for in building projects of all kinds. 'Careful planning of our communities can lead to greater social interaction, less stress, better conditions for children, and to greater equality between men and women.'

The club was formed in 1979 and has two hundred members all over Sweden. Quite a few of them are architects or building engineers or otherwise interested in housing and planning. Groups are formed to deal with specific questions, such as organising conferences, running study groups and making use of their planning checklist that covers every scale of development from a flat to whole regions. They also have a newsletter.
