Vim

Vim 5 for RISC OS

Vim is a text editor based on the famous VI. Its features include:

Flexible, user-definable syntax highlighting
Advanced search and replace
Multi-level undo
Redraw using system font, outline fonts or ZapRedraw
Virtual memory (edit files larger than available RAM)
Fast user interface
Powerful macro language (including record-as-you-type)
C indent automatically indents C programs
Fully redefineable menus and key combinations
Detects DOS files and switches mode automatically
Full support for the global clipboard
Uses dynamic areas on RISC OS 3.5 and later
Online hypertext help text

RISC OS 3.5 or later and the nested Wimp are recommended, but not required.

If you want to compile your own version then you need the binary AND the source. If you just want to run Vim then you only need the binary.
