Design Processor Extra Utilities
Oak Chart is a simple graphs and charts application. It allows bar charts, pie charts and line graphs to be created from a simple ‘spread sheet'. 3D effects, grids and legends can all be added to the graphs. Graphs can be exported as Drawfiles for use within other applications. As part of the Design Processor, Oak Chart is used to display nutritional information when using the Food section.
PDT View is a simple application which allows files created by the Oak Parametric Design Tool (PDT) to be viewed on screen. The drawings themselves may not be edited but any parameters that are altered will cause the design to be redrawn using the new values. In Design Processor all the packaging data is stored as PDT files which means that package nets can be defined and plotted or printed out at any size the user wishes.
The Euclid Viewer allows 3D pictures created by the kitchen design system to be displayed and ‘flown' around. A series of icons allows the view of the kitchen to be altered by panning left, right, up and down, zooming in and out and rotating in different axes. Ace Films can be created simply using Euclid Viewer and displayed using the Projector supplied.
The Resistor Calculator is a simple utility which allows electronic resistor values to be calculated from their colour bars. Alternatively, if a resistor of a particular value is required, this can be entered and the utility will display the colours and nearest available value. PCB and schematic versions of the resistor can be exported to Oak PCB for use within a particular circuit design.
Builder is a 2 dimensional object creation tool. It is used within Design Processor for many tasks including designing kitchens and for creating diets. The objects are dragged from the Design Processor windows and positioned within the Builder window. Once in position, they can be selected and moved around if necessary. Builder allows translations to the other tools including 3D, costings analysis and nutritional graphs.
