Output

(for input data this symbol is not needed before a decision box)

Hot keys (in brackets) can be used instead of the mouse.

Examples of commands which can go into an output symbol:

[Up to four outputs can be controlled by one output symbol].
When you have entered the text, click on OK or press Enter.

Motor power control: After clicking on fd or rev you can control the power of the motor by selecting a number (0 - 100) before clicking on OK. eg.

(eg different drum speeds for wash and spin- washing machine).

With the Unilab Serial Analogue board the variable output DAC has the values (0 - 255). eg.

To obtain a progressive change, for example lifting a weight on a hoist, the motor power or DAC can be defined by a variable.

Inserting extra symbols

Any of the symbols except Start/Stop/Sub can be inserted between symbols which are in a straight column. The symbols on the flowchart below will automatically move down

Up to twenty-two symbols can be placed in one column. If columns become too long, then a sub-procedure is probably needed.
