What is the Ticker?

The Ticker is a small utility that sits on your desktop displaying the latest headlines from AmigaCentral. You can then click and be taken to the relevant news story on our world class news pages.

What do I need?

The Amiga version of the ticker requires:

• An Amiga
• 1Mb Ram
• AmigaOS 3.x
• An internet connection
• Open URL Library 2.x

It will run from disk though a hard drive is reccomended, as is extra ram and a graphics card if you want to use some of the more colourful skins.

Requirements for other systems may vary.

How much will it cost me?

Nothing. The AmigaCentral news ticker is absolutely free to use for non-commercial use.

Who made this Possible?

The Amiga version of The Ticker was written by Chris Page, of The World Foundry. Based on an idea by Chris Korhonen. Without them the Ticker would not exist.
