I used to get this until I added a second power input - through the old
square A1200 motherboard connector. Then this stopped. But now I get the
straight cut out and reboot problem.

I sometimes get garbled gfx card screens behind windows. The stuff gets
smeared about - but that is something to sort out at a later date ... for
now!

I have a 250watt supply so hope it could handle it!

straight reboot - it is quick to start loading again so no GURU. Also I
have two video inputs to my monitor so could see the PAL screen if it did
happen.

the reason i don't think it is software is because i can sometimes just
leave it untouched and it will decide to reboot!
