I have self-maded tower (my friend did 3 or 4 years ago), and I got PPC
1.5 years ago. Whole year I had troubles - my Amiga frequently freezes,
restarts and so on. Usually restart came when I run processor time
expensive
applications - like RC5 client and MP3 players.
I discovered that my powersupply->Amiga cable is VERY hot!
(It was connected to floppyport)
Thus i soldered new one - shorter, and soldered it DIRECTLY to
motherboard.
Now I have much more stable system and my cable is cold. :)
Of course, I'm not hardware guru (I'm only newbie in soldering)- ask
Jacek
for more help.
kind regards,
Vassili
