Interesting idea. Ostrich-like, but interesting. =:)
Actually, I wouldn't worry so much about it, except that when I open LARGE
directories (a hundred or so files), my chipram drops to under 500k! I do
get it all back when I close it (though sometimes I have to prod it with an
"avail flush"), but it still has me deeply intrigued.
