On 28-Jan-00, Michael M. Rye was heard muttering:

What is it doing, and what is your system setup?
MMR> How did you get yours to work???
This is what I did: I plugged the Spectrum into an empty ZorroII slot.
Then plugged a VGA monitor into it (Keeping my 1084 on the Amiga's video
port). I booted as normal, and installed P96. Note: According to its
documentation, you should remove any and all RTG libraries and API's you
may have installed. This includes the Spectrum's software. After
installing P96, I rebooted the computer. I then went to ScreenModes Prefs
and selected the Spectrum:640x480x16bit mode and pressed SAVE. The
workbench shifted over to my VGA monitor.
Now, the display, while viewable, wasn't quite right, so I loaded Picasso96
Prefs, and tweaked all the video mode settings until each one displayed
perfectly.
