All these years of coding on the Amiga,
I have never seen a single "style guide" or reference
to the private usage of ENV & ENVARC.
So considering that I was unaware that *until today*,
software still "SAVE" when you actually select "USE",
it just depended on where....
I ran snoopdos to confirm this action & you are right,
at least for the printer preferences. (that I tried)
There was never any documentation released for
applications to use ENV etc... for their own private usage.
At least in all the books I have.
That's probably why I have 130K of garbage in there.
It would have been better if they used their current dir,
that way, the crap goes when the program does..
