What ARE the pros and cons of CgX and P96?

AP> No. This depend on the card. The P-IV has it's flicker fixer which sits

AP> fixers will take 15kHz signals and turn them into 31kHz signals for

AP> other cards, I assume the just pass the signal unmodified, and thus
AP> you'll need a monitor that can handle Amiga and VGA video.

The Spectrum card has just a straight pass-through. You need a
15kHz-capable VGA monitor. Also, it's important to note that the cable you
used to connect your Amiga to your 1084 monitor will NOT work with the
Spectrum, as the pinouts of the 1084 were non-standard. The Spectrum's
manual includes a pin-out listing of both the Amiga's DB-23 and the
Spectrum's DB-9 connectors, should you decide to make your own cable.

AP>> SOON I may be able to browse in FULL color for a change!! =))
AP> It's very nice, to bad our browsers are severly lacking. :(

A-Web (the latest version) handles 24-bit images flawlessly. No significant
slowdowns using the Spectrum's video modes (I have my browser set to
800x600x16.7M)
