Many thanks, Don, for the advice. I've been unable to find such a helpful
comparison anywhere.
I must say, I'm tempted more by AE than by Phtgx, from the little I have
experimented with earlier versions. But the latest Phtgx GUI looks really,
really good, so the decision is tres tres difficile.

It seems at least that both are fully OS3.5+-compliant, so that's out of the
equation.

DPaint and Ppaint, I have.

Its things like the smear tool, and 16/24 bit colour, as well as all the
filters that interst me. Can't someone combine AE and Phtgnx?!!

Any further comments from any quarter would be most welcome.
