I'm considering buying ArtEffect2.
Probs.
1. Cost.
2. PhotoGenics.
3. OS3.5BB1+
I can't ask ppl to solve 1. for me but I'd like to hear views on 2.
and 3.
I've seen Phtgnx advertised quite a bit and I have the impression that
it remains firmly up to date with Amiga developments. Perhaps I'm
wrong but I'm not worried about Phtgnx and OS3.5BB1+.
But AEffct impresses me very much and I'd really like to know if it
also receives continued attention to keep abreast with latest Amiga
systems. Anyone have any personal experience?
Of course the 64 thousand dollar question is which one is the better
art editing package, all things considered, such as:
OS3.5-awareness
Use under FBlit and WbCtrl
System resource efficiency
GUI look and feel
Speed
Range of drawing tools
Range of editing tools
Stability
Display quality
TurboPrint support
Ongoing development
Should I buy one?
Which one?
Amiga Format, if you're still out there and still listening, an
in-depth article would be superb.
