I am aware that Low-levelformatting can do damage but I seem to
remember that this applies EITHER to IDE drives OR to SCSI drives but
not to both of them. Is that the case? If it is, then is it SCSI or
IDE than should never never be L-L-F'ed?
Also, remind me, someone, please... What IS low-level formatting, and
why does it harm disk?
