I ran my system for a long time ( actually I still do ) with the stack set
to 200K in my S-S. It probably does not need to be that high but, somwhere
in the past on a ML there was a discussion about stack and that some things
like MUI I think need a large stack. As A result I set mine high and never
have had the problems with MUI that some people complain about.

Anyhow, see my other post. Settimng StackAttacks MIN to 10K does make a
difference. However, there is still a problem with BB1. The higher
StackAttacks MIN is set the more Fast RAM it uses with BB1. This is not the
case with 3.1 or straight 3.5. With those versions I can set the MIN to
anything and StackAtack does not use any more Fast RAM than when I don't
run it at all.

So, something has changed with BB1.

John
