LJ4Boost seems ok but it is shareware and I don't think it is supported
anymore:-( If you are getting a printer you may want to invest in
TurboPrint (has more options than LJ4Boost and it is still being developed
and it comes with Graphics Publisher which prints graphics very well:-).
Also as somebody has mentioned you may want a PostScript module (and
probably more RAM; I have 20 MB in mine (if you buy the RAM from HP it will
probably be too expensive; regular Fast Page RAM should do the trick; try
PNY or Kingston)) with that. I find the one in my LJ4+ very useful at times
(especially when printing ASCII files: I use a2ps, wonderful output (if
you've seen the Amiga ROM Kernel Reference Manuals you know what I'm
talking about:-) and jpeg2ps which allows you to print JPEG files without a
need for additional software: it formats the JPEG and sends it to the
printer which makes for very good looking printouts:-).
