How to view reports from a browser
Reports are published by Observer Reporting Server, but viewing those reports requires using a web browser.

To view pre-loaded reports, you do not have to configure anything; simply use your web browser and these instructions:
Tip! Application requests and response codes—for example, SQL error codes—can be seen in a pre-loaded report. Navigate to this report using your web browser. First choose the Business Group Reports tab. Next, choose the Application Transaction Analysis folder. Then, choose the report named Application Transaction Analysis performance Summary. Finally, click the “drill down” button for an application, and select Transaction Details Across all Servers.
A report may be blank if the probe is not collecting any data that the report is attempting to show. This could be because the probe did not see any of that traffic type or it was not configured to collect it. For example, router-based reports will not report any statistics unless the instance monitoring the router has had its Router Observer statistical mode configured and enabled. Ensure the probe instance is configured to collect the data you want. Also, ensure the report period is set to a valid range.
1.
Open a web browser and type the following URL: http://ORShost/ORS where ORShost is the host name or IP address of the system running ORS.
2.
3.
4.
You may change the time range by manually typing in the range and clicking Show Report. The arrows allow you to scroll to the right or left one time interval. The amount of time it shifts is based on the range you are currently viewing.
You may also use the magnifying glass to zoom in or out on a graph. The magnifying glass shows the following intervals: 10 minutes, 30 minutes, 60 minutes, 180 minutes, nine hours, one day, three days, 10 days, 30 days, 90 days, 270 days. Viewing time intervals shorter than 10 minutes is not possible with business group reports in ORS; instead, you must use Observer.
Note: When attempting to view a web report and you receive the message "The username or password is incorrect," the issue may not be account-related. If you are positive that the user name and password are correct, then verify that your web browser accepts cookies. Cookies must be enabled (specifically: not set to Block All Cookies) in your web browser to view web reports for Observer Reporting Server.
