How to create a report folder Sometimes the best way to organize reports is with additional folders. Using folders, you can categorize report types and improve report navigation in the web interface. To create new folders in Observer Reporting Server, complete the following steps: Tip! This workflow operates the same way for any report type. 1. Choose Reports > Business Group Reports. 2. Right-click anywhere in the reports list, and select New Folder. 3. Type a name for your folder. 4. (Optional) Type a description for your folder. 5. (Optional) If you use Super Groups, consider enabling the “Use as Super Folder” setting. This causes the folder to appear in the root navigation of the web reports and Business Groups tree. 6. Specify a business group assignment; these options include: None—the folder is not assigned to any business group. All business groups—the folder is assigned to all business groups. Select from list—the folder is assigned to only specific business groups.
