Understanding NetLive Reports
NetLive gives you a bird’s eye view of your enterprise-wide network so you can see which issues need attention and what area of the business they are affecting. Observer Reporting Server allows you to navigate to the problem for immediate troubleshooting.
NetLive reports are similar to Business Group reports except that each is a scrolling, previous-hour scope report of trending data that is updated every 20 seconds. Therefore, unlike a trending report, NetLive only sees the past one hour and the report is always scrolling. If you need to see something older than one hour, you must use a trending report.
NetLive reports provide high-level visibility in near real-time for anyone in your organization, making it ideal for monitoring global applications or protocols at a high level. A person does not need ORS installed on their local system. So long as they have a user account in ORS, they can view a NetLive report through a web browser using their user account in ORS.
If you want NetLive reporting data, you must enable it in Observer for each probe instance in Trending/Analysis > Network Trending.
Observer Reporting Server has several default NetLive reports for things like:

Application performance

Server performance

Network errors

Network utilization

Summary reports

“Last hour” reports

VoIP statistics

Protocol statistics
