How to integrate with GigaStor

You must have a GigaStor configured with one or more GigaStor instances that are accessible to the report-generating system. The report generating system must have a copy of Observer with a probe instance attached to a GigaStor.

1.	From the web interface, on the Business Group Reports tab, click Settings. The Report Settings dialog appears.

2.	Click the Configure GigaStor Integration button to display the list of probe instances connected to the locally installed Observer analyzer.

3.	Choose the Observer connection you wish to associate with a GigaStor instance by clicking its corresponding Configure button in the right-most column of the list. A list of available probe instances is displayed:

4.	Choose the desired GigaStor instance from the list by clicking the appropriate Select button.

5.	The Observer Reporting Server instance list is again displayed, updated to show the newly linked GigaStor instance.

After completing this task:

After you configure GigaStor instances for sub-reports, report tables derived from GigaStor data display a GigaStor sub-report icon. Click the GigaStor sub-report icon to launch a local GigaStor Control Panel, which presents GigaStor analysis options (such as filtering, forensics, etc.) before displaying the selected packets in standard decode display.
