6. Double-click the file ReportingServer.OiMonitor. The monitor is imported to the Network Instruments folder (category). If the folder does not exist,Observer Infrastructure creates it.
7. Ensure your Observer Reporting Server monitor is selected (the one you imported) and click in the monitor elements list. The monitor elements list is the rightmost panel of the window.
If you run Observer Reporting Server as a Windows process (you do not run Observer Reporting Server as a Windows service), expand the Performance branch and double-click “WMI - Windows Processes”. The New Monitor Element window appears.
If you run Observer Reporting Server as a Windows process (you do not run Observer Reporting Server as a Windows service), click the button near the Process Name field. The Enter WMI Connection Parameters dialog appears.

If you run Observer Reporting Server as a Windows service, select the NI Observer Reporting Server service from the list, and click . You return to the New Monitor Element window.
