Export Dialog
The Export Dialog is used to export results to a file.
The contents of the Export Dialog depend on the type of file to be
exported. For all file types, it consists of the following common
elements:
- 'Export to a file' input field: contains the complete file name to
which the result is exported. The file name must end
with a specific extension depending
on the file type. Users can enter a file name here, or use the
Browse File button, described next, to select a file name.
- 'Browse File ...' button: invokes a file section
dialog to select a file name for the 'Export to file' field.
- 'Export' button: exports the result to the file and close this dialog.
- 'Cancel' button: closes this dialog without exporting files.
- 'Help' button: invokes the on-line help.
Export frame
For a motion capture project, the export dialog contains fields to
specify frame range:
- Current: export results from the current frame only.
- All frames: export results from all frames.
- Range: export results from a range of frames. This option enables
the From and To fields which allows you to choose a frame range.
PEF file
If the file type is Photo4D Export
File(.pef), the Export Dialog has additional selection buttons for
choosing what to export:
- Imaging (camera) parameters: selecting it will create the IMAGE PARAMETER section
in the export file.
- Mark location in images: selecting it will create the MARK section
in the export file.
- Point coordinates: selecting it will create the POINT section
in the export file.
- Object represented by points: selecting it will create the
OBJECTIMP section in the file.
- Object represented by coordinates: selecting it will create the
OBJECTEXP section in the file.
- Measurement pad: selecting it will create a COMMENT section,
containing the content in the measurement result.
DXF file
When exporting a DXF file in a motion capture project, users can
select one of the following types:
- One DXF, port motion path: checking this selection will export all the
points motion data into one DXF file. Each point is represented as a
POLYLINE in the file.
- sequential DXF, points only: checking this selection will export all the
points to a sequence of DXF file, one for each frame.
- sequential DXF, all objects; checking this selection will export all the
objects to a sequence of DXF file, one for each frame.
