Date handling: With the Year 2000 Update, Internet Explorer 3.02 properly interprets (1) expiration dates of Web site cookies with two-digit years, (2) HTTP/1.0 headers with "00," (3) HTTP/1.1 headers, (4) headers with a four-digit year, and (5) headers containing two-digit years before and after the year 2000.
Two-digit years 00 - 79 are interpreted as 2000 through 2079 and shortcuts 80 - 99 are interpreted as 1980 through 1999.
