E3 (5/13/99) - Since its launch in September 1998, the PokΘmon phenomenon has taken the U.S. by storm. The Red and Blue versions of the Game Boy games have sold more than 2.6 million units. There are more exciting PokΘmon products on the way for both Game Boy Color and Nintendo 64.

  • Help Professor Oak with his research by photographing wild PokΘmon in their natural habitats
  • Travel through a number of environments supplied with your trusty camera in a special vehicle that can travel in the water, on land and through the air
  • Capture creative PokΘmon poses for the perfect shot. As players become more proficient with the camera, Professor Oak will give them special items which can be used to find more PokΘmon
  • After completing a safari tour, choose one photo of each type of PokΘmon to submit for Professor Oak's approval. The Professor will score each photo based on a number of factors such as quality, angle and style
  • Collect photographs in the PokΘmon Album. Photos can be enlarged and examined whenever the player chooses
  • Visit local Blockbuster« video stores between July and Thanksgiving 1999 to print out stickers of your favorite PokΘmon
