Set general options

General options in Picture It! refer to default settings for the product, including whether to automatically check online for updates and which units of measure to use for picture sizes and rulers.
To set general options:
  1. On the Tools menu, click Options.

    The Options dialog box appears.

  2. To automatically check for product updates when you are connected to the Internet, select the Check for updates online check box.
  3. To require pressing CTRL when using the wheel on a Microsoft IntelliMouse, select the Require CTRL to zoom with Microsoft IntelliMouse check box.
  4. To disable system sounds in Picture It!, select the Disable sounds check box.
  5. To set the default units of measure, click the unit of measure you want to use from the Units of measure list.
  6. Click OK.
