(Answer) (Category) Amiga Inc. Faq-O-Matic : (Category) Amiga General FAQ :
Buy new hardware and AmigaOE
I owned the Amigas, A500 and A1200 and current use PC which I built myself, I will certain return to the Amiga when the new AmigaOE or Amiverse released later this year and also the Amiga One machines.
I have some questions that people never asked these questions about how to switch to AmigaOE in software and hardware.
Q1: If I still use my current PC hardware, will the AmigaOE run on it like Windows 98?
Q2: Will Amiga Inc selling AmigaOE/Amiverse packages like Microsoft selling Windows 98?
Q3: If the new AmigaOE cannot run on my hardware, it only design on new Amiga One machines, will the OEM manufacturers released next generation Amiga ATX motherboards in many different configurations that I will prefer to buy the motherboard?
Q4: I knew that AmigaOE/Amiverse support multi-processors, will the new Amiga One machines and OEM motherboards feature multi-processors?
Q5: Will the AmigOE run on any video cards such as my 3dfx Voodoo 5 5500 AGP?
I look forward to read the answers soon
