line_split

 This command splits the current line at the cursor position. It then moves
 the cursor to the start of the new line.

 If the current cursor position is in some text, the text to the right of the
 cursor becomes the new line.

 If the current cursor position is on a terminating ^ line then a blank line
 is inserted and the cursor moves down a line.

 eg:  line_split

 It is essential that the configuration file has a line similar to the one
 below in order to make the editor usable :-

      key_bind "^M" "line_split"
