Going to SE-Asia ALONE...

I'm planning a trip to south east asia and I would like
to know:
1. what are some places to go (a route that is commonly
travelled by backpackers)
2. sites to see
3. good places to learn how to dive

   I recommend you buy a LP guide or get one from your
   library.(but you should buy one or a Rough Guide to bring
   along, in my opinion)
   Then, once you've spent some wonderful evenings reading up
   on where you want ot go, you can post more specific
   questions, like which diving outfit on that charming little
   beach? You'll get more responses that way.
