Has anyone here done any overland trips from London to
SE-Asia with Encounter? Are they good value for money? I'm
thinking of doing the Classis Overland in next Februry. Any
info welcome!!!

I'm travelling in Sept. with Encounter on their Backroads of
Asia tour - Istanbul to Kathmandu. I suggest that you
contact Neil Donovan who posts regularly on the TT. He used
to be a driver with Encounter. Check out his web-site, it
lists his e-mail. He'll answer all your questions...

Also check out www.mariejavins.com. She went from Kathmandu
to Damascus with Dragoman. Very interesting & good
description of what it's like travelling with a group of
people you've never met before.
