In 1749, the Sultanate of Borneo handed over Southern
Palawan to Spain. Palawan was then called Paragua, and was
later on divided into 3 provinces: Castilla (Taytay as its
capital, Balabac Island (capital is Principe Alfonso), and
Asturias (Puerto Princesa-capital). Of course now,
everybody knows Puerto Princesa City because this is the
usual staging area.
In anycase, if you have questions to shoot regarding the
