Gili Air

I'm travelling with my son (2 years) and friends to Lombok in November. I am planning to go to Gili Air. Who can recommend accommodation. I also would like to know if vaccination is needed?
Any other tips are welcome. Thanks.

The Gili Islands are shit. Just a bunch of air head idiots
getting drunk with the girls looking to get fucked by the
    Indonesian giggolos. Forget it!

As nobody is giving you a decent respons to your question,
I'll give you mine although the info dates from 5/97. We
really liked Gili air, but just to relax 2 daysn that was
enough for us. There's not much to do anyway apart from
relaxing, snorkelling, earting and sleeping. We stayed at
the most expensive place, Gili Air Hotel. We liked, but as
I said it was not cheap. They have the best location, with
both sunrise and sunset to be seen from their beach, tables
on the beach (have dinner during sunset). Have a look at my
    Indonesia site for more info
