I have heard rumours that there is a big Millennium party in
Bali, with loads of bands playing and DJ's etc, etc like a
mini festival type affair. Does anyone know anything about
it ? There is one advertised on the net, with tickets for
$250 (US) ! a bit pricey I reackon. Anyway, anyone know
anything about it ?? Cheers

the scam that the loverboy who went under the name
"mightybuffalo", or some such handle, was trying to foist
off on people. I'd hold on to your rupiah...or go to Bali
and organize one on your own...probably could get three
people together putting that much in and MAKE MONEY.
I agree with Tigerbalm. We were in Bali last New Years
Eve and had to pay for a New Years Eve party and buffet at
our hotel no choice. It was not what i would go out of my
way to attend and the food left a lot to be desired. The
price was outrageous for what it costs to put things on
there. Have your own party!
