Hello from Australia's Asian capital city, Darwin.
Can readers give me any advice on getting to Nemberala - on
the Indonesian island of Rote - from Kupang?
Did you feel safe on the ferry crossing?
How was the bus trip from Baa?
Will it seem like an adventure for my children - aged 14,
11, 8 and 6 - or might it fall into the category of "Are we
there yet, Dad?"
How about accommodation in Nemberala itself?
What about local handicraft? I believe there is a women's
co-operative for craft production.
Any and all comments would be greatly appreciated.
Warm regards from the tropics, where the Northern
Territory has just beaten Western Australia in Table Tennis
at the 1999 Arafura Games.
