A friend and i are heading to Bali in for the latter half of July. He hasn't got his diving ticket and i'm keen to do a bit.Send me an email if you're planning to be there then and are keen for a dive. Also if anyone is keen to hook up, hire a car and chase some surf north of Canggu or just around the Bukit let me know.
It seems people in this forum are very quick to write off Bali. I've travelled through Africa, a bit of Europe, Canada and the States and although i loved all these places the best fun i've had has been in Bali. I'll probably get paid out on for that, but hey, Bali's got great cheap food and beer, good surf and fun nightlife. All this talk about hawkers being dickheads is a bit harsh. We've spent a few nights out with some of the Balo guys we met on the street and had some great times. Sure we've been ripped off a few times, but who cares about $50 bucks in the scheme of things and what did you buy travel insurance for in the first place? Be careful by all means, but don't be cynical.
Anyway if you wanna hook up for a surf or dive or just to party on send me an email or post onto this.

Hi all,
A friend and i are heading to Bali in for the latter half
of July. My friend has recently got his diving ticket and
keeps telling everyone that I haven't. I fear that I may
lose my cool in Bali and end up stuffing him in my board
bag to teach him a lesson. What should I do?
However, I am pleased to say that my frind is a mud surfer
and I would appreciate the chance to surf with some people
who will be keen to search for some green rooms with me.
