Hi!
I'm heading for Indonesia in august till the end of
septembre (cca 2 months). I need some advice about the
budget. Will I get through with 1000 USD?
Thanks.
Vesna

You really will not need all tha money!
Unless you choose de lux hotel...
just consider that 5-10USD is enough, all included.

Only if you take the cheapest accomodation, the cheapest food, don't drink beer and never fly.
Otherwise you might expect at least twice the amount.
Would be glad to hear how much you really spent !

  3. Moving or Sitting? Added by: Karlo

Both of the above are correct. You can live very cheaply if
you sit in one place, but covering ground costs big money.
If you just went to, say, Ubud in Bali and found a basic
place in the paddies, a couple of bucks a day with breakfast
would cover you. You could take classes, cruise around on
public transport, and eat on the street, and get by on your
grand with ease. The same could be said of Yogya, and other
spots here and there in the archipelago. But if you start
travelling great distances, your costs will increase
dramatically, and that grand might not cut it.
