em, Flores is one of the highlights of Indonesia. Would only put Sulawesi and maybe Ceram above it. Don't skip Kelimutu Lakes. Eastern halfof isle is more remote and prettier. If you're into buying traditional handicrafts, on the south coast is a village called Ngela, where the art of Ikat weaving is still practiced. Try to buy from those who still use solely natural dyes, some are beginning to insert man-made colors. Be advised that the bus can't always get all the way to the village, still it's worth the walk. Enjoy!
