Hello,
I am heading to Bali via Tokyo, at the end of May. I have a
layover there and was wondering if anyone knew what I would
have to spend to drive/taxi into Tokyo from the hotel near
the airport? Not familiar with the area and do not have
much money to spend. Thanks! Em

For a return trip? A fortune. Probably not much more than
what you paid for the flight.

The bus fare from Narita airport into the city is around
Y3000 depending upon where youwant to get off at. The buses
take about 1hour or so and runs all the time. You are best
to get back to the airport, either terminal, and catch them
from there - but you need to know where you are going
because there are about 15 different destinations.
Ejoy - Tokyo is a fantasic city and food can be very cheap.
For a cheap meal head to the basement of most major
department stores where they have food halls with the most
fantastic array of food - most of it ridiculously expensive
(check out the meat and fruit) - but lots of free tastings.
Otherwise find a "sushi-go-round" which is Y100-110 per
    plate.
    Have fun

    He;s right around 3,000 yen (26 US dollars for a BUS). A
tani would be of course ALOT more considering Narita is
about and hour from Tokyo city. The happening kijin hang
out is Ropponi Area. Good luck!

If money is a problem...jump on the limited express trains
on the Keisei-Narita Line which leave from the airport and
drops you off at Nippori and Ueno stations for about Y1000
(a little over an hour travelling time). From there the
Yamanote Line will take you almost everywhere you'll
    probably want to go.
