    Hi ,
I have been to Brunei a few times , and the only cheap
place I know about is the youth hostel, or something like
    that.
I was told that you had to have a student card or somthing
to be able to stay there. But a couple of other people said
they got in about BR$20.00 per nite.
Other that that the cheapest I have found and I for get the
name is about BR$59.00 it was ok.
    Check around.

    Hello,
Don't expect anything too cheap in Brunei. What is more
alarming is the current state of Brunei. Travelling is very
difficult, no proper public transportation etc. Plus now
there is some SERIOUS political instability. I would think
    twice.

We stayed one night only due to the high cost of accomodation. The youth hostel was closed, we found a hotel somewhere behind - but can't remember the name.
Remember to take a walk alonf the water village on the other side, people were extremely friendly.
