Staying in shape while learing Spanish

I am looking for a place in Latin America where I can take
intensive Spanish lessons for two-three months. I run 5
miles a day and would like to go someplace where I would be
able to continue my daily runs while learning Spanish. Any
suggestions?

I suggest Quito, Ecuador. There are many, many language schools there. Most of the better schools are in a section of the
New Town near many restaurants, shops, hostels, and the large, beautiful Parque Ejido where you'll find many other joggers/
runners, kids, etc doing their health thing in a safe environment. You'll love Ecuador. It's cheap and the people are very
    gregarious.

i am in quito now and as an athlete you may want to
consider the level of pollution here particularly
diesel fumes which are pervasive quito is in a valley
while it is pleasant and cheap, other wise it is still a
fairly large city. i havent been outside of quito yet but u
might want to consider some of the smaller cities and towns

as an athlete u may want to consider the level of pollution
in quito which is in a valley. particularly the diesel
fumes which are pervasive - they have not cleaned up their
fuel and gone to cleaner engines as most developed
countries have. u might consider some of the smaller
    cities or towns in ecuador.
