WE're thinking of taking a year out and travelling
to Colombia as students. We'll be attending the Los Andes
University in Bogota. We're wondering what to do once we
get off the plane?
We're Irish and it's our first time in S.America.
PLEASE HELP US..............................!

  6. Once you get off the plane... Added by: Uniandes (proeduin@uniandes.edu.co)

    Hi you !
Once you get off the plane you will meet a student from Los Andes that will be waiting for you... He/she will take you to your hotel (or... where are you planning to live?) , if it is daytime and you are not very tired, you will be brought to the university, introduced to several other students and, after that, you will feel at home and start partying (that's when my troubles start...). So, just relax and don't worry... we will take care of you until you are ready to fly on your own !
    Best regards,
    Ines

    International Education Program
    Universidad de los Andes

THEse replys seem full of ads???
I can reccomend Herman's place. I've been in Bogota a few
times and it's the coolest I've found in Bogota (and cheap),
And Herman is truly a nice guy. (Keeps buying his clients
    beers)(Stop that Herman! Bad business!)
He also knows everthing about bogota.
    Anuway, have fun!
