Some travelers recommended a good, safe company for doing
the downhill bike trip from LaPaz to Coroico .. Gravity
Assisted something, run by a couple of Australian guys. I
can't seem to find them here in LaPaz - can anyone tell me
how to get in touch with them, or recommend another
reputable company for this excursion? Email, or if you're
in LaPaz, leave me a message at the Hotel Torino, rm. 68.
Thanks.

They had an ad posted in the Hostal Republica last summer.
The front office books tours and should know of them. Its not
far from you.
I think they're New Zealanders and recall seeing a flyer in
the main Tourist Office in La Paz last year. Soory don't have
more detail. The ride won't be as much fun on the new all
weather road if it's open yet.
Good luck, it's a great ride.

I just saw that poster yesterday in the British Council
Cafe, La Paz . The cafe is located at the British Council,
beside the British Embassy on Ave Arce.

I'm a bit smarter than the others - I brought the flyer home
with me. No I didn't do it but it sounds wonderful.

I think it's the same as mentioned above.
It's located across the street from McDonalds. It's a (very)
small mall, the bikeplace is all the way in the back.
I didn't go but they seemed like a good agency!

Well looky here ... people having trouble tracking us down
... sorry to hear it ... we are working on increasing the
number of posters around town, and there should be about
300 backpackers walking around with our free T-shirt which
has the email address on it so you can contact us
directly. Even better, we now have a web page
www.gamb.acslp.org so you can read about the Coroico ride
(still down the world┤s most dangerous road, but now
marginally safer as it is one-way at different times of the
day) and others, including down from the world┤s highest
ski-field.
If you are still having difficulty finding us phone us!!

Cheers - and just to Clarify, we are Kiwis not Aussies!!!!
