Pan-Flute

Do anybode know where to buy the best (or good, anyway if
not "the" best) pan flutes? I am going to Venezuela,
Ecuador, Colombia, Peru, Bolivie and Argentina.

    my understanding is that they are pretty universal... I
    found alot of pan flutes in Ecuador and I actually hung out
    with a traditional band for a while that had alot of
    different pan flutes in their collection...

    THe best market I have ever seen re selection and price for
    indigenous handicrafts, instruments, and clothing is off
    Calle (or Avenida) Aroma in Cochabamba, Bolivia. I have
    visited Peru, Ecuador, and Paraguay, and no place I have
    seen comes even close.
    If possible, have a local person go with you to the market
    and do the bargaining, etc. for you. You will get far
    better prices on what you.
