Flying from Euro to Quito.....

Does anyone have info about the best airline for flying to
Quito from either Vienna or London or even Frankfurt ?
I┤m looking to stay a year but the best I┤ve heard so far
is advive telling me to get two return tickets, letting the
return flight unused in each case. This seems like such a
waste.
Alternatively, does anyone know how much a ow flight to
London from Quito costs ?
I do apologise for all these questions...I┤ve tried to sort
this out by myself but no travel agency has proved to very
helpful with this very complicated ( and -for me-
important) matter .
Thanks in advance.
Jack.

I don┤t know what airlines you have tried but try Avianca, Colombian Airlines. At least from Finland it┤s normally cheapest and you can stop in Bogota without extra costs if you want to.

Apparently JLA, an English Co. are able to get Iberia return
tickets to Lima etc for ú299. This is a fantastic deall but
will probably not fit in with what you want. Still, worth a
    try maybe
