Amtrak warning

Just a warning folks....I had my camera and a bunch of other
stuff stolen while I was sleeping on the Amtrak service
between New York and Boston....and while I freely admit I
should've been more careful, the conductor said that there
had been a spate of robberies on the train in the past few
months....

   Whether I've begn on a train or in a dorm style hostel, I
   always put all my valuables in the bottom of my sleeping
   bag or sheet bag. My feet are so tickelish that if anyone
   was snooping aroung down there I'd wake up for sure!

   I keep my little valuables inside my pillow slip (in
   hostels) and when on trains or buses, in a locked bag which
   is slung around me and a put down the side of the seat
   (window). Otherwise at my feet with the cord wrapped around
   my ankle or next to me with it on my arm.

   No one likes to hear it, but you HAVE to watch the blacks.
   If you stay up all night (as I do) you will see one or two
   every time lurking through the train.
   I'm not a racist, it's just a fact.
