Hi , i'm working in the us over the summer and have decided
to travel with trek america afterwards. Does anyone have
any feedback, good or bad about thier tours? Also i've got
three in mind - The Northern Trail, where i get to see
niagara, THe Southern Sun Grand Canyon, or the Westerner 3
which has the grand canyon too and two theme parks. They
all have Disney and Yosemite. What to do? What to do?

NYC, DC, Whitewater rafting, Deep South, New Orleans,
TX/Mexico, Caves in NM, AZ: Grand Canyon, Lake Powell,
then Vegas! It's a fun trip, always on the move and gets
you coast to coast. If you prefer relaxing trip, do Western
3. Never did Northern Trail but places aren't as interesting
as South & desert territories. Yes, Trek America is a
reputable firm with good equipment.
Have fun, you'll like it!
As a past tour leader for TA, I have done all those trips.
I like the south best. The heat, more "water" stops, New
Orleans, Las Vegas, Zion Park. The Northern; first day out
of NY takes about 8 hrs. to Niagra(that's the way I did
it), you are still getting accustomed to the trip, it's a
nice stop but you can't really take it all in. Then it's 3
days driving to The Badlands in South Dakota, after that
the trip is pretty good. The center of the north doesn't
have much to offer, IMO.
The Western 3 offers shorter drive and multiple night
stops. I always like that!
It's a good company. A successful trip relies on your
attitude and flexibility. The nature of the trip means that
you have to take alot of things as they come, communicate
with the tour leader and have fun!\
You can E-mail me if you have more questions.
Trek America are a great company to travel with.
The southern States are much more interesting than the
North. Also there seemed to be a lot more time spent in the
van travellling through the North.
