what's up everybody, starting around late june i will be
traveling around new mexico, checking out some hidden
spots, off-the-beaten track hostels, around santa fe/taos,
and maybe up into colorado as well. i may also visit the
grand canyon from west texas, as yet undecided. i am 23,
female, diverse interests, generally effervescent
personality, would love some company (deadweight need not
apply, must know how to kick it:) or would be interested in
meeting up with people along the way. would love to meet
up with people from outside of the us who will be in this
neck of the woods. anyone up for road-trippin?
also, can anyone give opinions on hostels you've stayed at
in new mexico, esp. santa fe?

Hi. I just got back from New Mexico travels and heartily
recommend you visit the Chaco Culture National Historical
Park located in the northwest corner of New Mexico. It is
an extraordinary place. If you'd like more info on Chaco,
feel free to e-mail me....
Santa Fe is wonderful to visit. But, expensive anyway you
look at it. I don't know about any hostels there - I paid
$60US for a budget motel room near the downtown area. Was
definitely the cheapest accommodations I could find. When
in Santa Fe, make sure you really explore around the town;
there are all sorts of wonderful museums, grand old adobe
homes, and a hopping downtown. (Just no signs telling you
where to go!).
Have fun. E-mail me if you want info on Chaco!
