I am in Miami this summer vacation - I wonder if anyone can
tell me about some of the best clubs, places to go at night
etc...and is there anything worth doing in the day apart
from posing on the beach? Any suggestions much appreciated.
Simon.

might want to go to the Seaquarium, on Key Biscayne, or the
Zoo. There are also decent museums. There are some Miami
posters that will be able to give you more info.

South Beach is still the focal point of the tourist crowd --
and where most of the major clubs are located. If you are
into live music, and want to escape the plastic scene, head
over the causeway to Power Studios for a dose of music and
art in a funky setting (www.PowerStudios.com). It's in the
Design District -- an art/design focused urban renewal type
    area.
A great little place to stay on South Beach (right in the
middle of everything) is the Mermaid Guest House. You might
even wander in to find some awesome music being jammed at
their tiny, but very tropical, bar.
Lincoln Road (on South Beach)has a Farmer's Market on
Sundays -- Lincoln Road is the place to see and be seen
    during the weekend days.
Little Havana (Calle Ocho) is filled with flavor -- you can
even stop at the local grocery store there for "Coco Frio"
(a chilled green coconut that is hacked off at one end with
a machete - while you watch - and handed to you with a straw
so you can drink the "milk"). Versailles is the more famous
of the cuban restaurants on Calle Ocho -- but there are many
    more great ones there.
