I will be near the Lancaster, PA area this June and am
looking for recommendations for things to see....in
particular any gardens worthy of a visit. Thanks in advance
from this nature lover!

I have two suggestions , both of which may be further than you want to travel, but I'll leave that up to you. the first is Longwood Gardens just outside Kennet Square ,about 12 north of Wilmington. This was the du Pont summer estate and is quite a remarkable place. They have a web site ,longwoodgardens.org. and a fairly hefty admission fee. The other place is Hershey Gardens ,which in truth I have not gone back to in quite some time when I go back to visit family. Of these, Longwood Gardens is the more impressive.

Another one to look for is the Morris Arboretum also near
Wilmington. I haven't personally been there but have heard
good things about it. Sorry I don't have more info for you.
