I am heading out to Denver at the end of May and am planning
on staying in one of the Hostels in Denver. Does anyone have
any information about any of them or suggestions as to which
one I should stay in? Any help you can offer would be
great!!

I work a block from the hostel on 16th Ave 303-832-9996.
It's the closest hostel to downntown that's in a semi-safe
area. You can easily walk to lot's of cool bars and
restaurants and attractions. Close to bus lines. The
hostel called Melbourne International is in a very bad
    neighborhood. Good

Sounds like the first guy gave you the info you were
looking for. I lived up around Steamboat for a while, and
we use to stay at a hostel in downtown Boulder whenever we
went to town. I don't have a #, but it's right next to
campus, and I'm sure the registrar's office could get you a
#. It's about a half hour down to Denver, and a really
    young, fun town. Good luck,

  3. Downing and Colfax Added by: denver

The hostel on downing and Colfax looks nice. As for the
Melbourne being in abad neighborhood; well it's kind of
bordering on the Five Points district, but not in it. It's
Urnam, but safe. - but it's also still very close to
downtown and right across the street from a good
    restaurant. (the Mercury Cafe)

  4. Thanks Added by: Jess again (jlomiller@aol.com)

    thanks for all the hints...
If anyone is still reading this, which out of the above is
closest to the Convention Center? I should have added that
in in the initial post, but forgot...
    Thanks again!
